Coronation Picnic Celebrations

The King’s coronation was a significant event in British history, and we wanted to ensure that all the pupils at MSJ had an opportunity to build a school memory of this important historical moment.

To mark the event, The Black Cherry Theatre, a local amateur theatre company, provided the children with a whistle-stop tour of significant historical monarchs.

All the pupils had a picnic, then we all enjoyed an ice-pop to finish the day.

The wonderful MSJ PFA also provided every child with a commemorative medal as a keepsake, so that they can have a lasting reminder of this significant event.
